ACCESSIBILITY STATEMENT
This statement was last updated on October 1, 2023.
We at Chequers Micropub are working to make our site www.chequersmicropub.com accessible to people with disabilities.
What web accessibility is
An accessible site allows visitors with disabilities to browse our microbrewery's offerings with the same level of ease and enjoyment as all other visitors. This is achieved through both the capabilities of the system on which the site is operating and the use of assistive technologies.
Accessibility adjustments on this site
We have adapted this site in accordance with WCAG 2.1 guidelines, and have made the site accessible to the level of AA. The contents of this site have been tailored to work with assistive technologies, such as screen readers and keyboard navigation. As part of this effort, we have also:
Used accessibility testing tools to identify and resolve potential accessibility issues
Set the primary language of the site
Organized the content structure of the site's pages
Defined clear heading structures on all pages
Added alternative text for all images
Implemented color combinations that meet the required color contrast
Reduced unnecessary motion on the site
Ensured all multimedia content is accessible
Declaration of partial compliance with the standard due to third-party content.
The accessibility of certain pages on the site may depend on content that is not owned by Chequers Micropub, and instead belongs to third parties. We declare partial compliance with the standard for these pages, which may include external links.
Accessibility arrangements in the organization
Chequers Micropub is designed to be accessible to all patrons. We offer accessible parking spaces, and our entrance is wheelchair-friendly. Inside, we have seating arrangements that accommodate wheelchair users, as well as accessible restrooms. We also provide assistance for any visitors requiring special arrangements.
